This job was to recreate the comp on the left but with a lighter feeling in it’s overall appearance. The window was enlarged and a sense of light dappling on the floor was added, along with detail and color modifications to the chair to set the chair in the room. Wainscoting was added to the back wall, and the piano was reworked to match the softened and out of focus base of the original. The hat was completely recreated to match the actual hat Doc Holiday may have worn, and color adjusted to match the light in the room.
